NVQ Level 4 Process
- Your allocated assessor will ‘profile you’ to check suitability for the course.
- Enrolment process agreed and signed up to.
- NVQ journey (assessment dates) planned and agreed with assessor.Â
- Assessments and observations carried out by assessor.
- The candidate will then upload their evidence and supporting statements to demonstrate competence.
- Once the assessments have been ‘signed off’, the portfolio is then quality checked by the ‘IQA’ and Awarding Body.
- The ‘certificate’ will be applied for and the NVQ process is then complete.

There are 14 ‘Mandatory Units’ in this qualification. You need to complete ALL of these.

Unit 7:
Developing and Maintaining good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
Unit 8:
Maintaining Supplies of Materials to Meet Project Requirements in the Workplace
Unit 9:
Implementing Communication Systems for Construction Projects in the Workplace
Unit 10:
Maintaining the Dimensional Accuracy of Work in the Workplace

Controlling Work Against Agreed Standards in the Workplace
