NVQ Level 6 Process
- Your allocated assessor will ‘profile you’ to check suitability for the course.
- Enrolment process agreed and signed up to.
- NVQ journey (assessment dates) planned and agreed with assessor.
- Assessments and observations carried out by assessor.
- The candidate will then upload their evidence and supporting statements to demonstrate competence.
- Once the assessments have been ‘signed off’, the portfolio is then quality checked by the ‘IQA’ and Awarding Body.
- The ‘certificate’ will be applied for and the NVQ process is then complete.
You can apply for the MCIOB with a L6 via the PR route and the L7 via the SPR route
Course Content
There are 19 ‘Mandatory Units’ in this qualification. You need to complete ALL of these.

Planning the preparation of the site for the project in the workplace
Unit 8:
Monitoring project activities in the workplace
Unit 9:
Ensuring that work activities and resources meet project work requirements in the workplace
Unit 10:
Organising, controlling and monitoring supplies of materials in the workplace
Unit 11:
Identifying and maintaining communication systems and organisational procedures in the workplace
Unit 12:
Controlling project progress against agreed quality standards in the workplace
Unit 13:
Controlling project progress against agreed programmes in the workplace
Unit 14:
Managing own personal development in the workplace
Unit 19:
Identifying, allocating and planning the deployment and use of plant, equipment or machinery in the workplace
